Nusa Dua Beach Hotel Resort & Spa is oooooooold school...it was the first 5-star hotel in Bali built round 1982 and still has a majestic feel to it. As with most new villas and resorts poppin up everywhere here in Bali, they seem to ALL go for that minimalistic, neo-design, "Ikea-like" furniture with all the fresh amenities. Now, i'm not hatin' but when you walk into the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel its seriously like a walk down those ole Hollywood hotels from the 1920's, very grand, very classic, and very very very nostalgic. Its more of a family kinda place but the restaurants are good, the rooms are pretty big (yes i got hooked up with the Palace Suite), and they have the largest span of private beach in Bali. Much props to Kora who had dinner with me and shared stories of our hangovers from the recent weekend.
