It's like an agressive big hug for ears, influenced by hip hop, rnb, and garage bass.
Straight from UK, Glasgow, the outcoming city is melting northern electro waves, brutal warp bass and south african 'Mujavian' beats.
Also, one of my favorite producer Para One released his new album "Passion".

Mix :: The Revenge - 25 Years Is A F**king Long Time Underground (2012)

 
The label "Instruments Of Rapture" recently bit the big one, huge loss considering how many exquisite selections they put out in just a 3-year period... but still we get a lovely mix from The Revenge celebrating 25 long ones at Glasgow's legendary Sub Club!

The Revenge blurb - "It's hard to put into words what the Sub Club means to me. Harri, Domenic, Keith & Jonnie have been guiding lights in the art of DJing in my world. The club is the perfect size with a DJ booth on the same level as the dancefloor and a killer sound system. When I first started going, the sign of a good night for me was bleeding knuckles from punching the roof repeatedly during certain records. I've calmed down a bit now ... but I still like to get semi-involved on a weekend off. Tenth best club in the world? ... I think they need to shift it up nine places."

For me, definitely the highlight of the Fatboy Slim party at Potato Head Beach Club. Stevie G. opens up for a full 2 hour set that's nothing short of party rocking music. CRU "Just Another Case"?? Enjoy.

Danny Tenaglia's Loft...

Danny Tenaglia just announced his (temporary?) retirement from the grind of DJing/traveling around the world recently and will have to give up his ridiculously dope loft in NYC (the picture above contains original stacks used for the Shelter, Vinyl, Body & Soul sound systems).

Middle Initial

So I've finally been in Bali long enough to start designing my own clothing and accessories, it's all kicking off in 2012 (before the world ends).... Middle Initial at the moment is strictly t-shirt designs and travel bags, would like to focus on travel accessories mainly as I do enough of it already and nothing is cooler than still looking decent after a 20-hour cross-continental voyage (don't ever forget your travel toothbrush).

Pictured here are just a couple of the "NATIVE 101" series of t-shirts I've printed off. This is all an ongoing learning process and so I'll be posting more as this venture grows...
